The company was founded on 17 September 2025 with a vision of making financing more accessible, transparent, and inclusive for individuals and businesses across Africa.
The company is currently operating from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.
Shield Point Capital began as a small student financing initiative with a team of three members, providing responsible financial support to university students. Through continuous market research and a deep understanding of the financial challenges faced by many Africans, particularly in Zimbabwe, the company has evolved into a growing financial services and technology business.
Today, Shield Point Capital is building innovative financial solutions that connect people, businesses, and financial institutions through technology, creating faster, fairer, and more efficient access to finance.
